Lately

Here we are at the end of January. Things are going well. Our big news as of late was that we found out we are having a baby girl. We are all excited! Maddie and Bella were really hoping for a sister, and I know they'll be great with her. Poor Nathan will still be the lone boy, so good thing he has a great dad. I'm due June 11th, and we are happy that things are going well.

Scott was in Utah for his sweet grandma Rynearson's funeral. She was a great lady and lived to age 93. She's been alone for years now, so I can only imagine what a happy reunion it was for her to see her husband again. Scott gave the eulogy at the funeral. I wish we could have all been there, but am glad he could go.

The kids are doing well and we are plugging through the winter. We've been staying busy with little outings to the science museum, the mall play place or any indoor play place we can find, the library etc. We had a fun visit from our friends from Cleveland today and the kids love playing with their kids. It was a treat for all of us. We are looking forward to an upcoming trip to Utah in a couple months. Here are a couple photos of playing in the snow.

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful christmas this year. We were able to have a nice Christmas eve and Christmas morning here in Ohio. Scott was miraculously able to get off early christmas eve so we could have our birthday cake for Jesus and do the nativity together. The kids were spoiled and thrilled with all the festivities and gifts. We left that day to head to my favorite christmas spot- Capistrano. We've been going with my family at Christmas for as long as I can remember and I'm so grateful to my parents for carrying on this tradition. We love it. It is wonderful to reconnect with family, go to our traditional spots, and recharge for the new year. The kids were in heaven with all those cousins around. We even made it to Disneyland and had a great time.
