Celebrating Scott's graduation was so exciting. It is an incredible accomplishment and we were so proud of him. Of course our camera battery died right after we took only a couple pictures, but luckily Scott's parents took a lot of pictures so we'll get them soon. Melanie and Randy made the trek all the way out to Kirksville to celebrate with us. We loved seeing them and the kids were so excited too. We celebrated at the SAA banquet, the awards banquet, and the actual ceremony. It was a great week. Way to go Scott!

Kirksville

We were excited to head to Kirksville of course to celebrate graduation but also to see our dear friends. The friends we made in Kirksville were truly like family. We were all at the same place in our lives and we spent a ton of time together. It was a blast to see everyone's kids all grown up. It made me miss them all! I Love you girls.

On the way to Kirksville for graduation we stopped in Springfield at the Lincoln museum. It was really neat. The kids were good sports too heading to a museum after all the driving. The kids all ended up doing fine, but I have to say, I'm not a fan of long car drives!

Packing and last day of Preschool

Packing was crazy but the kids loved playing in all the boxes.


Maddie and Bella went to an amazing preschool this last year. They had incredible teachers -Susanne in the Pink and Cheryl in the yellow. They also grew to love Pam- one of the classroom helpers. It was also perfect that their best friend Ashlyn was in their class. They became quite the inseperable trio. They were so excited to go everyday and the learned a lot. I saw them grow in a lot of ways and it was neat to have them tell me about things they learned. Carol Nursery School was amazing. All the staff was so kind and truly cared about our girls. We were really sad to leave and it will be hard to find something that compares. I took this picture on the girls' last day. They had to leave a month early because of our move. I totally cried on their last day and we had to say goodbye. I'm really grateful for our year at Carol Nursery.

Good bye Cleveland

We can't believe the time is here. It is moving week and I'm so sad to go. We have LOVED living here. Our neighborhood is gorgeous right now and our purple tree in front of the house is in full bloom. (pictures to come soon.) We had our first beautiful home here, Nathan was born here, Maddie and Bella started preschool here, we were in the Kirtland stake, and mostly we made wonderful friends. I will miss a lot things about Cleveland and Shaker Heights.

Our last month or so has been a busy one getting ready for the move. We've done a lot of house things to get our inspections done. It has seemed never ending and I will be grateful not to have some kind of worker at our house 24/7. We made a weekend trip up to see our dear friends the Roos' in Michigan and it was the best weekend. Our kids were in heaven because even after 2 years of living away from them we still talk about Addie daily. I loved catching up with Tobey and even having a few moments of kid free shopping! It was just great to spend time together and feel like we had a litte time with some "family." Thanks Roos fam for letting us take over your house and for taking great care of us!

Last week I went to Cheesecake factory for one more girls' night out with some of my friends from the ward. It made me so grateful for the wonderful women I've gotten to know while we've lived here. I've looked up to their examples and have appreciated the countless amounts of service they have given me and my family. I always knew there were friends just a phone call away. While living away from family is hard, it is a blessing to make dear friends along the journey. Thanks for organizing that Sarah. It was so sweet of you. I will miss you girls so much and am COUNTING on you frequenting the temple!!

My wonderful friend Cathy also hosted a "See You Soon" party for Maddie, Bella, Emmy, and Charlee- all the little girls who will be moving in the next couple months. It was absolutely darling from the frames and friendship bracelets to every detail in the decorating and food. Truly picture perfect. It makes me teary even just thinking about leaving these wonderful people. Thank you Cathy. That meant a lot to all of us.

We also had one last barbeque with our Kirksville "family", The Gowdy's and Moss's. I will truly miss living closeby these girls. I've been incredibly grateful for their friendship and adore them. I've watched them as amazing mothers, wives and women, and as they've gone through various trials. As we've all spent time together I've learned from their examples and advice, and depended on their friendship. It was so nice to have these girls who I feel so comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings with, and who just understand what we're going through in a way that other people can't. I love you girls and your families and am already looking forward to our reunions ahead.

Last night our realtor took us out to eat at an amazing chinese restaurant with some other friends of ours that she has worked with. We feel so blessed to have had this great lady in our lives and are grateful still that things have worked out so well with our house from the day we bought it to tuesday when we'll officially sign it away. Sure we've had plenty of "moments" when we thought, "Another thing is broken??" but overall it was such a blessing to live here.

So after all these "last" get togethers the only thing left to do is finish packing, let the girls finish preschool this week and load up that truck. It is time to get into moving mode and embrace the chaos, the change, and the next stop along this medical journey. Columbus here we come...

Dance Recital

I've been teaching a little dance class for the girls and their friends every thursday at our house. It has been really fun and we always looked forward to it. It was fun to watch all the little girls get excited about dancing and they really got better and better. Their attention spans got longer as the weeks went on and by the end I thought it was a definite success. We celebrated with a little "recital" in our living room. We made the girls all tu tus and Maddie and Bella were super excited to put sparkles in their hair and wear make up. All the families came over and we showed off some of the things we've learned all year. The girls did great and I will really miss having this little class each week. I grew to love all these girls and Maddie and Bella couldn't wait to dance around with their friends every thursday!

Easter Egg Hunt

The YW in the ward had a camp fundraiser and had a pancake breakfast and egg hunt before easter. The kids loved it. Here are a few of the girls' friends.

Maddie and Bella absolutely adore Ashlyn. She has been in their preschool class with them too and they have had tons of playdates together. Whenever we talk about moving they are always most worried about not living close to Ashlyn. She is a darling little girl and we're grateful she has been a great friend to the girls.

We forgot to take pictures on Easter but we had our own little egg hunt and loved watching conference. We even made our traditional conference soup and loved it. We always miss our families at conference time and on holidays but we had beautiful weather and watching conference always gives us a bit of "home". I love family traditions, holidays, and conference so it was a great weekend.

Catch up

It has been a BUSY couple months at the Rynearson house! I want to record a few of the things that have happened the past little while. This is going to be LONG.

February we got our match results, and learned that we're off to Columbus. We celebrated Valentine's for weeks around here with lots of packages for the kids from our wonderful family. Scott never disapoints on Valentines that is for sure. From a surprise massage at Ladies and Gentlemen salon to a voice recorded scavenger hunt it was a wonderful holiday.

We've been doing a babysitting exchange group with some friends and here are the girls with some of their friends all dressed up and decorating cupcakes.

March 4th is my wonderful hubby's birthday!! He turned 29 this year and we love him more than ever. He has nearly finished med school and that is a great accomplishment. We're so proud of him. I couldn't ask for a better husband or a more wonderful father for our kids! Poor scott will always have a pink birthday cake as long as the girls have anything to do with it. I had to make him an oreo cheesecake too though.

Scott might be mad at me for putting this picture up but I had to document this crazy thing. No, I didn't deck him in the eye. Scott woke up one day with a sore on his face and the next day it had turned into this.... His eye was nearly swollen shut and the whole side of his face was huge. He couldn't even smile. Luckily some antibiotics helped and he is nearly back to normal.


March 1st we put our house up on the market. We have spent months preparing for this,- decluttering, cleaning, painting, fixing up things and we were glad to finally get things rolling. When I drove up and saw the for sale sign in the front yard of our first house I was surprised at how sad I felt. It has been a wonderful couple of years here in Shaker and we have loved our home. We truly experienced a miracle because we had one showing a few days after the house went up and we accepted an offer a couple days after that. We are SO grateful and are truly stunned at how quickly and smoothly things have gone. We feel such a huge weight lifted off our shoulders and are so grateful that we didn't have to go through months of showings. What a blessing!! We have to be out of our house by the end of April, which is a little sooner than I had hoped, but I won't complain! Scott finishes the 23rd of April so we'll have a week to get everything packed and to Columbus. We are currently fixing things for the inspections, and will get going on the packing soon.

The weather finally started to warm up around here and it has been fabulous! We can't get enough of the gorgeous spring weather. I'm praying we don't get hit with another huge storm. The kids are loving the park and taking walks and Nathan wants to get out the door all day!

Speaking of Nathan... He turned 1 on friday! I can't even believe it. This year has honestly flown. I feel so bad that I haven't documented his milestones like a I wanted to. I wish I would have kept up better. He is just the cutest little guy though. He started walking about a month ago and he is crusing around these days. He only crawled a few weeks and he started walking really fast. He is into everything and follows Maddie and Bella around all day. They always think he is chasing them and he is a big tease already. He keeps me constantly on the run as he goes from cupboard to cupboard tearing things open, trying to get into the toilet, pulling things off the shelves, and trying to dart up the wooden stairs. Luckily no major falls off the stairs yet. He wants anything he can't have and always manages to find things the girls leave on the floor- like the markers.

He loves animals and calls all animals bears. He says "Bear", "Ball", "Ma Ma", "Da Da", "This" and "THat" while he points to things he wants. He is a great eater and wants to eat everything we eat. He is getting four molars all at the same time right now too. For his birthday Grandma Sue sent this adorable giant alligator and he loves to wrestle it. He also got this first little tikes basketball hoop from grandma Melanie. He loves it and Scott is sure he is a natural. In fact, I don't know who loves this hoop more- Nathan or Scott. I've yet to get a good picture though, so I don't have one to put up yet, but he is so cute playing basketball and does really good getting the ball in!

When Nathan was born there were 5 babies in our ward born within a few weeks. To celebrate their first birthdays we had 4 of the babies together for dinner and cupcakes. Nathan is the youngest, but biggest of the group. He is darling though.

On Nathan's actual birthday we were in Columbus looking for housing so we had a little birthday party at the hotel. The girls frosted his baseball birthday cake and he definitely dug in. Overall I can't say enough about how much we love this little boy. He has brought so much joy and fun to our lives and I can't imagine a sweeter boy. The girls love him and they are getting more into playing with him the older he gets. He is definitely full of energy and church with him is craziness, but we know he has so many great things ahead! Happy 1st birthday Nathan.

Match Results!

We are officially headed to Columbus, Ohio this summer where Scott will start his residency training in OB/Gyn. This was our first choice and are so excited. We have heard wonderful things about Columbus and have been there lots of times to the temple. We can't wait to have a temple near us! It will be a great program for Scott at Doctors Hospital.

We are of course sad to leave Cleveland because we have had such a wonderful experience here. We sort of feel like we just got here and now we will move again. We'll miss our incredible ward and the great friends we've made, the beautiful falls and springs in Shaker, our first home that we absolutely love, being in the Kirtland stake and many more things. At least Columbus isn't too far, and Cleveland friends- I'm totally planning on babysitting all your kids when you make temple trips! So, now to sell our house! Fingers crossed that all goes well.

Lunt Family Pictures

Here are a few of the family pictures we had taken at the beach in Cali over Christmas. Of course it had to be the coldest day of our entire trip, so by the end our kids were not very cooperative, but what do you do? This was the first time (besides weddings) that the Lunt fam has had a picture of the entire family in over a decade! It was definitely time. I have the greatest family ever!
